What exactly changes in the new Nubentos?
We add the option to use the industry standard #1, HL7® FHIR®, so you only have to integrate once, even if you change your vendor.
We also add segmentation by monthly usage tiers, to adapt the Nubentos usage experience to each type of customer.
What exactly does “even if you change your vendor” mean?
Usually, Digital Health APIs do not offer a standard interface. This forces the Healthcare software developers to develop an ad hoc integration for that API. If they change their vendor, they must re-adapt or redo their integration for the new API. But if the Healthcare developers integrate the API through a standard interface with Nubentos, if they want to change the vendor they do not have to touch their software again. We map and route their calls to the new provider.
All published APIs will have a standard HL7® FHIR® interface?
All published APIs will be able to have their standard HL7® FHIR® interface in Nubentos. We will publish the standard interfaces as our customers request them. Vendors will be able to offer their API through the standard interface if they want to increase their presence in the Healthcare sector.
What does segmentation by monthly usage tiers mean?
Nubentos offers you access to any innovation in Digital Health through consumption plans based on pay-per-use, or fixed fee per consumption tier. The new segmentation means that you will only see the consumption tiers that are suitable for your estimated monthly usage volume.
When will the HL7® FHIR® interfaces be available?
At Nubentos we put our effort and commitment into what you, our customers, demand of us. From January 1st, 2021, if it is not available, you can request the integration to an API of our catalog through HL7® FHIR® interface. As soon as it is ready we will let you know.
What if no vendor wants to offer its API through the HL7® FHIR® standard?
We are sure that any health software provider knows perfectly the importance of the HL7® FHIR® standard in the industry. At Nubentos we will not stop until at least one vendor responds to market demand. We want 100% of APIs published in Nubentos to offer the option of the standard.
